In a continued effort to expand the surface area for community participation, UGP is adding another Grants Subcommittee, this time focused specifically on data analyses, dashboards, and more. Being able to more efficiently and effectively disburse resources is one of the primary motivators for expanding UGP in this manner.

The committee is led by current and former grantees, students, and members of other analytics communities. Since inception, it has already awarded the first round of bounties and a $50k grant to MetricsDAO. In fact, today is the last day to submit for bounties 3 and 4. Some points of highlight for Wave 7:

• Caravan started as a winning hackathon project at CalHacks and then followed up with another prize again at UniCode! The vision and determination from Andrew and Jwalin to focus on building a public good is inspiring. With caravan, v3 LPs are able to find more ways to extend their LP’s profitability thus enabling much more creative strategies, active and passive.
• Every grant in wave 7 was awarded to dedicated uniswap community members who have been a part of some uniswap activation, and is now is actively building on uniswap. Each grant awarded is focused on making specific parts of the ecosystem more accessible, more easily understood, and more approachable for a wider audience.
